University of Basrah Holds a Scientific Lecture on Quantum-Property Nanoparticles in Dentistry
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture titled “Quantum-Property Nanoparticles in Dentistry.”
The lecture aimed to introduce quantum-characteristic nanoparticles and explain their physical properties, while highlighting the advantages of using them in the precise diagnosis of oral and dental diseases—particularly in deep fluorescence imaging and rapid in-clinic diagnostic procedures.
Presented by researcher Abdullah Iyad Farouq, the lecture offered a detailed overview of the most recent applications of these nanoparticles in dentistry, including early lesion detection, targeted delivery of topical medications, and the potential integration of these particles with artificial intelligence technologies to develop more accurate and efficient diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
