University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Oral Lipomas
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah held a scientific seminar titled “Oral Lipomas”, presenting three cases occurring in different regions of the oral cavity.
The seminar aimed to highlight the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects of oral lipoma cases, emphasizing their importance in early detection and in distinguishing them from other oral lesions that may present similar clinical signs.
Presented by lecturer Zahraa Fayyad Ameer, the seminar included a detailed review of the three documented cases from teaching clinics, discussing the variation in their locations and the appropriate surgical interventions for each case. The session also facilitated an exchange of opinions on best practices for post-treatment follow-up.
