College of Veterinary Medicine Welcomes a Delegation from the College of Agriculture
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah welcomed a group of faculty members and students from the College of Agriculture, as part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the two colleges.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Microbiology Laboratory and the Central Research Unit, where they were briefed on the tests and analyses conducted in these facilities.
Faculty members Dr. Nuras Nouri and Dr. Aliya Sabti provided the visiting delegation with a detailed and comprehensive explanation of the operation of various laboratory devices, including the PCR machine and the electrophoresis apparatus, in addition to sterilization equipment and the proper procedures for disposing of biological waste after completing experiments.
