University of Basrah Holds a Scientific Seminar on Pharmacovigilance
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on pharmacovigilance under the slogan “Your Safety First.”
The seminar aimed to highlight the process of reporting through the electronic form and to emphasize that the pharmacovigilance system encourages confidential reporting without legal consequences, particularly regarding medication errors, in order to help prevent and reduce such incidents.
The seminar, delivered by several pharmacists from the Basra Health Directorate, featured three main themes: an introduction to pharmacovigilance, an overview of its objectives, and the presentation of field cases related to adverse drug reactions.
