University of Basrah Organizes a Field Training Exercise at the Basra Veterinary Hospital
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a field training exercise at the Basra Veterinary Hospital.
The exercise, which involved faculty members and third-year students, aimed to familiarize participants with the services provided by the hospital, the procedures followed in examining and diagnosing cases, and the appropriate treatments offered to animals.
The training included an overview of the hospital’s units, such as the laboratory unit—which comprises the bacteriological culture room, the PCR room, and the ELISA room—in addition to the ultrasound unit, artificial insemination unit, poultry unit, and the outpatient clinic.
