Basrah University Students Participate in the Sixth Central Graduation Ceremony as Part of the “*Ala Huda Al-Qamar*” Cohort
The celebratory march for the graduates of the Ala Huda Al-Qamar cohort commenced this morning as part of the sixth central graduation ceremony for Iraqi universities, organized by the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Al-Abbas in Karbala. The event witnessed a wide turnout and active participation from Basrah University students.
The celebration featured the participation of more than 5,000 students from various Iraqi universities, united in a grand academic carnival that reflects the aspirations of Iraqi youth and their readiness to embark on a promising professional and academic future.
This ceremony comes within the framework of the Fityat Al-Kafeel National Project, which aims to support university youth and strengthen their sense of national belonging, all within a well-organized atmosphere hosted by the holy city of Karbala.
Participating Basrah University students affirmed that attending this major national event represents a moment of pride and gratitude toward their university, which stood as their strong support throughout their years of study. They added that taking part in the Ala Huda Al-Qamar cohort carries a special symbolism that reinforces their connection to values of altruism and giving.
