University of Basrah Celebrates the “Victory Festival” in Commemoration of Iraqi Sacrifices and Triumph
The College of Education – Qurna, at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the Popular Mobilization Authority, organized the “Victory Festival” to commemorate Iraq’s significant victories.
The festival witnessed official attendance, including the Commander of Basrah Operations in the Popular Mobilization Authority and the Director of the Authority in Basrah, alongside representatives from various local institutions, with active participation from the college’s faculty and students.
Dr. Ali Darb Shaban, Dean of the College, stated that this commemoration represents “an enduring national milestone reflecting the strength and unity of the Iraqi people,” praising the college’s commitment to annually celebrating this occasion to instill and reinforce a sense of national belonging and pride in major achievements among the student generation.
