University of Basrah Organizes the University Cultural Forum for Arts and Poetry
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah organized the University Cultural Forum for Arts and Poetry, which witnessed wide attendance from artists and intellectuals interested in creative activities.
The forum aimed to activate and enhance the role of various cultural and artistic forms within the university environment.
Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, Director of the Cultural Center, stated that the forum included an interactive astronomical display, poetry readings presented by several poets, and diverse artistic performances, including musical presentations. The event also featured discussions and dialogues addressing the impact of culture on raising awareness and the role of the arts in strengthening the creative identity of youth.
