University of Basrah Holds an Online Workshop on the Use of Nanotechnology Applications in Dentistry
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a specialized online workshop entitled “The Use of Nanotechnology Applications in Dentistry”, with the participation of several faculty members, students, and interested individuals.
The workshop aimed to highlight the role of nanotechnology in enhancing the physical and biological properties of dental materials.
Presented by Dr. Rana Hassan Abdul Majid, the workshop introduced nanomaterials and their modern applications in dentistry, which contribute to increasing durability, enhancing resistance to bacteria and tooth decay, and achieving better cosmetic results.
The workshop emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of advanced chemical processes and the need for continuous education in nanochemistry to keep pace with future developments.
