University of Basrah Welcomes Tourists from Malaysia
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah welcomed a tourist group from Malaysia as part of a program aimed at exploring the cultural and scientific landmarks of Basrah.
The visit aimed to introduce the visitors to Iraq’s rich biodiversity and highlight the museum’s scientific and educational role in preserving natural specimens and promoting environmental awareness.
The tourists toured the museum’s various halls, exploring biological exhibits, skeletal structures, and taxidermied animals, while receiving scientific explanations about natural habitats, preservation methods, and the importance of safeguarding natural heritage.
This visit is part of the University of Basrah’s efforts to promote cultural and scientific tourism and build bridges of communication with visitors from around the world.
