University of Basrah Welcomes Students from Basrah Girls’ Preparatory School
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah welcomed students from Basrah Girls’ Preparatory School on an educational visit aimed at enhancing learning and awareness.
The visit aimed to introduce the students to the importance of biodiversity and natural history, and to develop their scientific knowledge through direct exposure to models of living organisms and various environments.
During the visit, the students toured the museum’s diverse halls, exploring biological exhibits, skeletal structures, and taxidermied animals, while receiving simplified scientific explanations about the characteristics of these organisms and the methods used for their preservation.
This visit is part of the University of Basrah’s efforts to support the educational process and connect academic curricula with practical experiences, thereby broadening the students’ knowledge horizons.
