University of Basrah Organizes a Green Spaces Tree-Planting Campaign
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a large-scale campaign to plant and cultivate green spaces within its public campus areas.
The Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Aqil Fadel Al-Dahan, stated that the campaign aims to instill a culture of volunteerism among students and encourage them to preserve the university environment while raising cultural and environmental awareness.
He added that the campaign included planting a large number of flower seedlings, pruning trees, landscaping gardens, rehabilitating the irrigation system, and improving walkways to enhance their aesthetic appeal. The campaign saw the participation of numerous faculty members and students.
