University of Basrah Organizes a Religious Seminar on Intellectual Warfare
The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Al-Hussain Holy Shrine, the Department of Religious Affairs, the Religious Preaching Division, and the Imam Al-Hussain Cultural Center in Basrah, organized a religious seminar entitled “Intellectual Warfare: Its Means and Our Responsibilities.”
The seminar aimed to introduce the concept of intellectual warfare, highlight its dangers, and present ways to fortify oneself through knowledge, sound thinking, and ethical conduct to effectively confront it.
Presented by Sheikh Jamil Kabr Khasaf Al-Silawi, the seminar covered topics including awareness of the nature of intellectual warfare, mental fortification, and the importance of dialogue and constructive communication. The Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Dakhel Zghair Mutlaq, also participated in the event.
