University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Symposium on a Journey Through Non-Traditional Realms
The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a distinguished scientific symposium entitled “Beyond Euclid… A Journey Through Non-Traditional Realms.”
The symposium aimed to highlight recent developments in Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry, demonstrate their applications across science, engineering, and modern technologies, and enhance the skills of students and researchers while opening new avenues for scientific collaboration.
The event, presented by Dr. Abdullah Kordiyurk from the Republic of Turkey, provided an overview of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry concepts and their wide-ranging applications in scientific and educational fields. The Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, also participated, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in broadening knowledge horizons and promoting academic research collaboration.
