University of Basrah Receives a Delegation from the Popular Mobilization Forces to Discuss Joint Cooperation
The President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim Al-Asadi, received a high-level delegation from the Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), headed by the Director of the Authority, Major General Fadhil Al-Basiri, along with a number of officials and members of the Authority, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two institutions.
During the meeting, the President of the University affirmed the University of Basrah’s commitment to supporting all national institutions, praising the significant role played by the Popular Mobilization Forces in defending Iraq and its holy sites.
For their part, the Director of the Authority and the visiting delegation commended the active role of the University in providing educational support and services to the families of martyrs, emphasizing that cooperation between civil and security institutions constitutes a fundamental pillar in building the state.
