University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Malware Analysis
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah organized a scientific workshop entitled “Malware Analysis and AI-Powered Intrusion Prevention Systems,” with the participation of a number of students and individuals interested in the field of cybersecurity.
The workshop aimed to raise security awareness and introduce participants to the latest technologies used in protecting systems and networks, contributing to the development of their practical skills and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.
The workshop, organized by the Department of Cybersecurity, included a lecture delivered by international trainer Hussam Al-Qatrani, who discussed methods of malware analysis and highlighted the importance of employing artificial intelligence techniques to enhance intrusion detection and prevention systems and improve responses to cyberattacks.
