For Sustainable Childhood Development and the Encouragement of Innovation, the University of Basrah Welcomes Al-Nojoom Private Kindergarten
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah welcomed pupils from Al-Nojoom Private Kindergarten, accompanied by their administrative staff.
Commenting on the visit, the Director of the Center, Dr. Nizar Abdul-Mohsen Jaafar, stated that the program included a range of stimulating and developmental activities aimed at enabling pupils to acquire new scientific and technological skills and knowledge, helping them keep pace with contemporary developments in encouraging innovation to address environmental challenges.
The activities were based on active learning methodologies and included the screening of educational and entertaining films with purposeful pedagogical content. Among these were films documenting astronomical events and phenomena, presented in cooperation with the Astronomy Enthusiasts Club.
