College of Education for Pure Sciences Discusses the Path of Quality and Scientific Research at Its Annual Evaluation Conference
In the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhand Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, the activities of the Annual Evaluation Conference of the College of Education for Pure Sciences were launched under the theme “Pure Sciences: Horizons and Aspirations.”
The conference featured a detailed presentation on the trajectory of the Journal of Scientific Research and its role in publishing high-quality scholarly studies. It also focused on quality assurance and programmatic accreditation through a thorough analysis of achieved accomplishments and future plans, accompanied by a critical review that identified strengths to be further reinforced, in a manner that supports the enhancement of institutional performance and the advancement of higher education.
In his address, the University President emphasized that “the University is steadily moving toward updating its academic programs and strengthening its research output in line with international standards.”
For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majid Mohammed Jasim, stated that “the conference addressed quality and academic accreditation axes by reviewing administrative and scientific aspects aimed at improving institutional performance,” stressing that the College places the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in higher education at the forefront of its priorities.
