University of Basrah Receives a Chinese Delegation from Green Farm Company
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah received a Chinese delegation from Green Farm Company during a scientific and introductory visit conducted within the framework of cooperation and mutual engagement with scientific and environmental activities.
The visit aimed to familiarize the delegation with the museum’s collections and its role in promoting environmental and scientific awareness, as well as to showcase models of biodiversity and exhibits documenting the various natural environments of Iraq.
Members of the delegation toured the museum’s halls, where they viewed biological exhibits, skeletal specimens, and taxidermied animals, and listened to an explanation of taxidermy techniques and the importance of preserving natural heritage.
This visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen cultural and scientific communication and to exchange expertise with international institutions and companies.
