University of Basrah Enhances Cooperation Among Its Internal Institutions
As part of its efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and ensure the integration of roles among university formations, the Director of the Department of Dormitories Affairs, lecturer Montather Jumaa Mahdi, received the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Dr. Amal Mohammed Abdulkarim, during an official visit aimed at reinforcing coordination and following up on issues related to dormitory affairs and the services provided to female students.
During the visit, an expanded official meeting was held to review the administrative and organizational workflow of the Department of Dormitories Affairs, discuss mechanisms for implementing applicable regulations and instructions, and review procedures governing university housing. The meeting also emphasized ensuring a suitable and safe environment that supports the educational process and contributes to students’ academic and psychological stability.
The meeting further addressed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the College of Education for Women and the Department of Dormitories Affairs to achieve institutional integration and help address challenges and obstacles that may affect workflow, through the adoption of appropriate administrative solutions in accordance with the legal and administrative frameworks in force at the university.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination, working in a team spirit, and strengthening institutional partnership in a manner that contributes to developing the university environment, improving administrative and service performance, and achieving the strategic objectives of the University of Basrah.
