University of Basrah Holds the Annual Evaluation Conference for the College of Education for Humanities for the Academic Year 2024–2025
The College of Education for Humanities organized its annual evaluation conference, attended by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Wissam Jumaa Lafta, alongside a distinguished group of deans, faculty members, and researchers engaged in academic affairs.
The conference included a comprehensive review of the college’s activities over the past year and a precise evaluation of its academic and administrative performance, with a focus on developing advanced mechanisms for academic work that align with quality standards and institutional accreditation. It also aimed to open new avenues for advancing scientific research and utilizing it to support the educational mission.
In his speech, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs emphasized the necessity of engaging with reputable global databases and adopting strategic plans that enhance the university’s international standing.
The Dean of the College stated: “This conference reinforces the college’s position and contributes to supporting its academic and research trajectory, as well as improving its practical outcomes, by transforming recommendations into tangible actions that enhance the college’s efficiency and knowledge contributions.”
