University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Workshop on Improving Milk and Meat Production Technology
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific workshop titled “Improving Milk and Meat Production Technology,” with the participation of several specialized academic staff and researchers.
The workshop aimed to present the latest scientific strategies to enhance production efficiency and economic feasibility in the dairy and meat sectors.
It included lectures delivered by a distinguished group of the college’s faculty, covering the scientific foundations and modern methods in nutrition, management, and housing, while highlighting the main challenges facing the sector. The workshop also focused on innovative solutions to address local challenges in southern Iraq.
The workshop recommended integrating modern technologies to reduce heat stress and implementing food safety standards.
