University of Basrah Participates in a Ministerial Committee to Evaluate Library Operations
Dr. Ahmed Razaq Al-Fartousi, Secretary-General of the Central Library at the University of Basrah, participated as a member of a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education to evaluate the operations of the Central Library at Diyala University.
The committee reviewed the status of the central library and the range of services it provides to students and researchers. The visit also included tours of the Colleges of Medicine and Engineering, as well as a comprehensive meeting at the academic forum to discuss the state of libraries in Iraqi universities and the challenges they face. The committee emphasized the importance of updating digital infrastructure, developing information services, and enhancing access to electronic information resources, all of which contribute to supporting education and scientific research.
