University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on Nahj al-Balagha
The Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized an academic symposium entitled “The Impact of Nahj al-Balagha on the Sciences and Humanities.”
The symposium aimed to highlight the profound influence of Nahj al-Balagha across various fields of science and the humanities, given its rich intellectual, linguistic, and humanistic content.
The symposium was structured around three main themes. The first focused on the legacy of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its influence on linguistic and literary knowledge. The second examined the impact of Nahj al-Balagha on political thought and state-building, while the third shed light on its role in shaping psychological concepts.
