University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Human Rights
The Cultural Center, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized a seminar entitled “The History of Human Rights from the Universal Declaration to the Present Day”, with the participation of faculty members and students.
The seminar aimed to enhance academic awareness of human rights culture, highlight its historical development, and emphasize the importance of its implementation in the Iraqi context.
The seminar included the presentation of two research papers discussing the significance of human rights and their applications in Iraq, along with a review of the historical evolution of human rights, assessing their success at the national level, and highlighting the main challenges and proposed solutions.
