University of Basrah Receives Al-Thabat Intermediate School for Boys
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah received students from Al-Thabat Intermediate School for Boys, accompanied by their teaching staff, as part of the museum’s scientific visit program aimed at supporting the educational process.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the importance of scientific museums and their role in enhancing knowledge of biological and environmental diversity, while developing observation skills through direct interaction with natural specimens and educational exhibits.
The students toured the museum’s various halls and benefited from the scientific explanations provided by the museum staff regarding different species and their natural habitats, thereby enriching their knowledge and linking theoretical learning with practical field observation.
This visit is part of the University of Basrah and the Natural History Museum’s efforts to support interactive education and promote scientific culture among school students.
