University of Basrah Receives Al-Shaheed Karim Maz‘al Al-Baydani School
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah received students from Al-Shaheed Karim Maz‘al Al-Baydani School, accompanied by their teaching staff, as part of the scientific and educational visit programs organized by the museum for school students.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the importance of biological and environmental diversity and to deepen their understanding of the world of living organisms and methods of their conservation. It also sought to foster students’ scientific curiosity through direct observation of the exhibits.
The students toured the museum’s various halls and benefited from the scientific explanations provided by the museum staff regarding biological specimens and the natural environments in which they live, thereby linking theoretical knowledge with real-world observation.
