University of Basrah Faculty Member Participates in the 3rd International Conference on Agricultural Sciences at the University of Karbala
As part of efforts to strengthen the scientific presence of the University of Basrah in international academic forums, Dr. Wisan Fawzi Fadhil, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, participated in the 3rd International Conference on Agricultural Sciences organized by the University of Karbala, which brought together a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities.
Her participation included presenting a research paper entitled “The Effect of Certain Treatments on the Productivity and Essential Oil Traits of Rosa Damascena Grown Under Salinity Stress Conditions.”
The study aimed to develop an agricultural approach that ensures the production of high-quality rose oil even in saline-affected soils, contributing to agricultural sustainability and the advancement of the agricultural sector.
