Within the “Study in Iraq” Initiative, University of Basrah Welcomes Incoming Arab Students
As part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative, the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah welcomed a group of incoming Arab students from the Republic of Sudan.
The Director of the Student Affairs Department at the College of Engineering, Dr. Osama Jassim Naim, stated that the college received the accepted Arab students for the 2025–2026 academic year. The students were introduced to the college’s academic departments and laboratories, in addition to being briefed on the academic regulations and the university services available to international students.
