University of Basrah Holds Seminar on Environmental, Health, and Urban Indicators in the Governorate
The Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled “Environmental, Health, and Urban Indicators in Basrah Governorate: Reality and Future Prospects”, attended by the University’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ayman Saleh Neama, along with academics and researchers.
The seminar aimed to review and analyze the most significant environmental, health, and urban changes occurring in Basrah Governorate, highlighting current challenges and exploring future projections while proposing practical solutions to improve the quality of life in the region.
The seminar included three main axes: the first focused on environmental issues, the second on health-related aspects, and the third on urban development, reflecting an integrated scientific approach to addressing sustainable development challenges in Basrah.
Additionally, the seminar examined and compared current and past indicators with anticipated future challenges in the governorate.
