University of Basrah Honors Its Pioneers
In a ceremony filled with loyalty and appreciation, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah held an event honoring a distinguished group of its faculty members on the occasion of their retirement, as well as recognizing the efforts of several administrative leaders who have completed their service in the college.
Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Jalal Yassin, stated: “This gathering is merely a symbolic expression of gratitude to a generation of pioneers who laid the foundational blocks of this scientific institution, dedicating their intellect and lives to elevate the college’s status.” He emphasized that their contributions will remain etched in the memory of generations and the halls of the college.
The dean also praised the diligent efforts of the administrative personnel, describing their work as persistent and clearly visible, reflecting the highest values of teamwork, dedication, and selfless service, which contributed to significant advancements for the university in general and the college in particular.
