University of Basrah Holds Its Annual Evaluation Conference
The College of Administration and Economics – Qurna at the University of Basrah held its Annual Evaluation Conference for the academic year 2024–2025, as part of its efforts to enhance institutional assessment and develop academic and administrative performance in line with the university’s strategic plans.
The conference reviewed key themes focusing on evaluating the college’s scientific and administrative achievements throughout the academic year.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Adnan Farhan Al-Jurani, highlighted the college’s main objectives and future challenges, emphasizing plans to launch postgraduate studies in project management, finance, and investment, alongside supporting faculty and administrative staff to enhance the quality of university education.
The Scientific Assistant, Dr. Youssef Ouda Ghanem, presented the scientific developments achieved by the college during the 2024–2025 academic year, including activities, research outputs, and academic participations. Meanwhile, the Assistant Administrative Officer, Dr. Ismail Juma Abbas, reviewed major administrative achievements and maintenance works that contributed to improving the university environment. Finally, the College’s Quality Assurance Officer, Amar Emad Khalaf, outlined the advanced steps undertaken to meet the requirements for institutional accreditation.
