University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Production of Biopolymers from Animal and Plant Proteins
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar titled “Production of Biopolymers from Animal and Plant Proteins and Their Applications in Dietary Systems.”
The seminar aimed to highlight the latest research and scientific studies in the field of biopolymer production and their diverse applications.
The seminar featured lectures delivered by Dr. Raghad Rahim Ali, Dr. Lina Samira Mohammed, and Dr. Shireen Fadel Abbas, covering the potential for producing biopolymers from animal and plant proteins, their physical and chemical properties, and the mechanisms for restoring proteins to their natural structure after coagulation. The presentations also emphasized the importance of plant proteins, particularly grains, in this field.
