A doctoral dissertation at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, examined historical narratives from the perspective of marginalized voices in the Iraqi novel.
The dissertation, submitted by the student Ali Kazem Dawood, aims to shed light on the phenomenon of employing history in Iraqi novels published after 2003, through the survey and analysis of a number of significant literary works in this genre.
The dissertation comprises three chapters, in which the researcher discusses the patterns of historical narratives, the vision underlying historical narratives, and representation within historical narratives.
