The University of Basrah Releases a New Issue of the Basrah Journal for Palm Research
The Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah has issued the second issue of Volume (24) for the year 2025 of the Basrah Journal for Date Palm Research.
The issue comprises (113) pages and includes seven scientific research papers addressing a range of topics, including the study of biological characteristics and oil content of date palm pollen grains; the effect of ozone fumigation and packaging type on date storage; the response of date palms to environmental stresses; the impact of nano-potassium spraying on the qualitative traits of fruits; the date palm dust mite and methods of its control; biologically active compounds and antioxidant activity extracted from the heart of date palm offshoots; in addition to the effect of antioxidants on enhancing the anatomical characteristics of date palm offshoots under salinity stress.
