University of Basrah Students Organize a Scientific Visit to Basrah Oil Company
Students of the College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a scientific visit to the Basrah Oil Company, with the aim of becoming acquainted with the operational mechanisms of modern petroleum laboratories.
The visit sought to familiarize students with methods of measuring pressure and viscosity and their importance in characterizing the physical properties of petroleum fluids. This, in turn, contributes to broadening students’ scientific perspectives and enhancing their understanding of the role of physics in vital industrial sectors, particularly the oil and gas industry.
