The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Relationship Between Air Pollution and Alzheimer’s Disease
The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the relationship between air pollution and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as strategies to reduce exposure to polluted air and improve indoor air quality.
The workshop aimed to explain the link between long-term exposure to air pollution, cognitive decline, and the increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by the college instructor Hussein Talib Kharibsh, in which he outlined the natural and human-made sources of air pollution and the serious health effects of airborne pollutants on the nervous system and the brain.
