University of Basrah Holds Workshop on World Human Rights Day
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah held a workshop on Human Rights, aiming to enhance awareness of human rights culture and to reinforce the principles of dignity, justice, and equality within the university community.
The workshop, delivered by Dr. Abdulkarim Zayer and Lieutenant Colonel Montather Kazem Naama, included introductory lectures that addressed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, highlighting its significance and its role in protecting fundamental rights and freedoms. The event also featured interactive discussions focusing on the responsibility of institutions and individuals to respect and defend human rights.
The workshop witnessed active participation and positive engagement from attendees, contributing to the exchange of views and ideas and fostering constructive dialogue.
