President of the University of Basrah Inaugurates the Sixth Course on Teaching Methods Toward Updated Blended Learning
The President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, inaugurated the sixth course on Teaching Methods Toward Updated Blended Learning, organized by the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah. The event was attended by the Director of the Center, Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kazem, along with a number of experts in teaching methods.
The course aims to familiarize participants with modern teaching skills and to academically and professionally qualify them for obtaining scientific titles, in line with the requirements of academic development and the assurance of quality in university education.
In his address, Dr. Al-Asadi emphasized the importance of the course and its modern scientific and practical components, expressing his appreciation and gratitude to those responsible for organizing these ministerial courses and praising their success.
The course includes a series of scientific lectures delivered by Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kazem and Dr. Rafid Abdul-Jabbar Mohammed, who outlined the course themes, which extend over a period of three months and comprise eight training units.
The lectures covered concepts of education and learning, an introduction to modern teaching methods, as well as an explanation of the stages of the Teaching Methods Modernization Project in accordance with the updated curriculum, contributing to the advancement of the educational process and the achievement of effective learning outcomes.
