University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the Development Plan for Small and Medium Enterprises
The College of Education at Al-Qurna, University of Basrah, organized a seminar entitled “The Development Plan for Small and Medium Enterprises.”
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in supporting the local economy and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship, in addition to clarifying mechanisms for sustainable planning and development of these projects in a way that contributes to creating new job opportunities.
The seminar included lectures delivered by specialists who reviewed the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship, methods for developing small and medium enterprises, and the challenges facing entrepreneurs.
The seminar concluded by emphasizing the importance of holding such scientific and awareness-raising activities, which contribute to developing the skills of students and staff and strengthening their orientation toward entrepreneurial work.
