University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Instructional Design
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on instructional design for the second unit of the sixth Teaching Methods course within the administrative specialization.
The lecture, part of the sixth Teaching Methods course within the administrative specialization, aimed to acquire essential modern instructional design skills in accordance with blended learning standards.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Munaf Abdul-Kadhim Al-Qattan and Instructor Marwa Musa Atwan, covered the concept of instructional design and its importance, the difference between instructional design and teaching design, types of instructional design and their benefits, the theoretical foundations of instructional design, its stages, the characteristics of a good instructional design model, and types of design models (ADDIE model – Bloom's Taxonomy).
