University of Basrah Council Holds its Seventh Open Session to Discuss Postgraduate Studies Results
The University of Basrah Council held its seventh open session, chaired by Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, with the attendance of his assistants, the council secretary, and its members, to discuss the academic achievements of the first semester.
The session began with a discussion of the final reports on postgraduate student results, following a review of pass rates and academic standards. Colleges were instructed to begin the requirements for the second semester and to provide a suitable research environment to support students' academic progress.
The council hosted Dr. Hisham Latif Sawadi, Director of the Information and Communications Technology Center, to present the software services and operational mechanisms of the new Student Information System (SIS), particularly the user-friendly electronic registration interface for first-year students. The council directed that the system be adopted as the primary source for all student data to facilitate accurate inventory and academic monitoring.
