University of Basrah Organizes Tree Planting Campaign for Environmental Sustainability
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a comprehensive tree planting campaign within the college's halls and outdoor areas, as part of its efforts to promote a sustainable university environment and instill a culture of respect for green spaces.
The campaign was overseen by the Dean of the College, Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kadhim, with the participation of faculty members, staff, and students. A variety of seedlings and trees suitable for the local environment were planted.
The Dean emphasized that tree planting is a fundamental part of the college's vision to create a healthy and aesthetically pleasing university environment that contributes to improving the overall atmosphere for both students and faculty. He noted that such initiatives enhance the sense of environmental responsibility within the university community.
