University of Basrah Organizes Awareness Seminar on the Occasion of National Quran Day
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized an awareness seminar to celebrate National Quran Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the Prophet's mission (27th of Rajab). The seminar, titled "The Quran: The Living Word of God: An Enduring Miracle and an Unfading Light," aimed to emphasize the importance of commemorating this blessed occasion and to solidify the Quran's place in the hearts of students and the university community.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Murtadha Jawad Awad Al-Mudawwah, a faculty member at the College of Education for Humanities, focused on the Quran's role in building a balanced personality, promoting ethical and behavioral values, fostering a sense of religious and national belonging, and encouraging students to recite, reflect upon, and act upon its teachings. The organizers stressed the importance of such events in disseminating Quranic culture and building a conscious university environment.
