University of Basrah: Rabbits Taxidermy for Educational and Museum Display
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah has taxidermied a number of rabbits as part of its scientific program aimed at enriching its exhibition halls with new biological specimens for educational and research purposes.
This process aims to preserve the animal specimens and prepare them for museum display, thereby contributing to students' and visitors' understanding of the anatomical characteristics of living organisms and supporting the practical application of scientific studies related to biology, anatomy, and taxidermy.
These activities are part of a series of artistic and scientific endeavors undertaken by specialized staff to develop the exhibits and enhance the museum's educational and awareness-raising role in disseminating scientific knowledge and preserving natural heritage.
