University of Basrah Holds a Course on Computer Fundamentals and the Windows Operating System
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a training course entitled "Computer Fundamentals and the Windows Operating System," with the participation of trainees from various disciplines. This initiative is part of the university's efforts to enhance digital skills and improve the efficiency of its human resources.
The course aimed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge needed to use computers, including understanding hardware and software components, mastering the Windows 11 operating system, and managing files and folders efficiently.
The course also focused on overcoming technological apprehension and preparing trainees to work effectively in the digital work environment.
The course, presented by faculty member Ahmed Dhiaa Bader Al-Moussawi, covered several topics, including file management skills, connecting to Wi-Fi networks, using search tools, and an introduction to essential programs and the control panel.
