University of Basrah Faculty Selected as Scientific Reviewer for International Journal
Dr. Amir Abbas Mohammed, a faculty member at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah, has been selected as a scientific reviewer for the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, published by the international publishing house Elsevier.
Dr. Amir Abbas stated that the journal focuses on publishing advanced research in the field of biomacromolecules, including biopolymers, proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids, and their applications in medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and biotechnology sciences. It is a reputable international scientific journal indexed in the Scopus/Web of Science database, ranking in the first quartile (Q1) with an impact factor of 8.5.
