University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Electronic Archiving
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the mechanisms of electronic archiving.
The workshop aimed to introduce the fundamental concepts and issues related to the function and importance of archives, and to familiarize participants with modern technologies used in archiving and preservation.
The workshop included a lecture presented by faculty member Muntadhar Karim Qasim, who explained the mechanisms for converting paper documents of various types and conditions into electronic documents, thus facilitating their retrieval and electronic management.
