University of Basrah Holds Festival to Celebrate National Quran Day
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah held a cultural festival to celebrate National Quran Day under the theme "The Holy Quran: Identity, Language, and Memory of a Nation."
The festival aimed to highlight the impact of the Holy Quran on shaping human thought and guiding individual and social behavior, as well as the importance of connecting university students with the Holy Quran as a way of life and a source of noble moral values.
The festival included blessed Quranic recitations in a distinguished academic and spiritual atmosphere, emphasizing the role of the academic institution in instilling religious and human values and enhancing students' cultural awareness. It also featured scholarly lectures that shed light on the linguistic and rhetorical miracles of the Holy Book, in addition to other cultural presentations.
