Book by a University of Basrah Professor on Targeting Religious Rituals Has Been Published
Dr. Qais Nasser, a professor at the Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basra, has published a book titled "Targeting Religious Rituals During the Commemoration of Ashura for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) from 2004 to 2024."
The 52-page book, divided into several chapters, monitors and documents terrorist operations targeting the commemoration of Ashura in various Iraqi cities. It analyzes data and statistics related to the number, patterns, and methods of the attacks, as well as documenting the number of martyrs and wounded, identifying the locations of the attacks, and using photographs and tables to illustrate the scale of the crimes committed.
